My Intro to Safety lesson shows “Learning Center Status Pending”

This is a known issue with the USSoccer Learning Center. This particular lesson does not update OMS correctly, even if you have completed it appropriately.
Make sure you have actually completed the course. If so, it should show up in your “Safety Certifications” section of your USSoccer Learning Center Profile (see above).
Do not panic if you have an upcoming field course. You will be allowed to attend.
If you have completed this course in the Learning Center, but your OMS account still shows pending, please contact us, and we will manually mark your lesson complete.

My SafeSport shows “Completed” in OMS, but I am told it’s expired

The SafeSport Course is required by USSoccer, and all referees of all grades in all states must complete it each year.
The certification expires EXACTLY one year from the date you completed it. However, OMS only checks for completion at a moment in time. Therefore, it is possible that when OMS checked, your SafeSport was current and was marked “completed.” Then, at a later date, the SafeSport expired. USSoccer immediately suspends referee certification when this training expires, and you are NOT legal to work games until you complete the course for the current year.
