I am currently working as an Assistant Referee in PRO matches for NWSL, USL Championship and USL-1. Additionally, I work as Referee and AR in College (PAC12/NISOA and ACCAC) and AZ state leagues.

What ongoing training is associated with your current level?

Bi-annual training camp, monthly webinars (law review & analyzing video clips), weekly game review with self-evaluations, and fitness training

What is your connection to Arizona or ASRA?

I am a Regional Referee, and a Grassroots Instructor.

How did ASRA or individuals within the state help you in your referee career?

ASRA board members (such as Richard Heron, Chris McConkey, Todd Sergi, and Brandon Marshall, amongst others) have always been reliable resources when trying to advance to the higher level. They provide valuable information, assessments, and opportunities if you remain in contact and show valued interest.

More importantly though, it is all the fellow referees that I have worked with over the years that has kept me so intrigued, focused and committed to working hard to reach the highest level. Their friendships and continued support means so much to me.

Any memorable moments, games, tournaments, experiences, etc from your time in Arizona?

Any words of advice to future referees who want to reach your level?

Challenge yourself to continue growing by interacting with National referees and coaches, maintaining good fitness, and always asking for feedback and ways to improve
