Our own Corey Rockwell was just named MLS Assistant Referee of 2011. This highest honor came to him via a combined vote of 1/3 fellow MLS refs, 1/3 players and 1/3 media. Corey and his wife, Krista will fly to L.A. Friday to accept this wonderful award at the annual MLS Awards Banquet.
Corey moved to Az. in 2005 and lives in the Phoenix area with his wife, Krista, and their 2 young sons Chase (21/2) and Dalton (1).WELL DONE COREY, Az. is most proud. I cannot think of a more deserving recipient (biased?, naaa!)
